Singer Songwriter
Julian Kalel, 17-year-old singer/songwriter, was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He writes and performs music that expresses his personal experiences with depression and anxiety. His music is a reflection of his journey towards healing and hope. He is a mental health advocate who has held benefit concerts for NAMI El Paso (National Alliance for Mental Illness), and the Migrant Refugee Center in addition to Nashville's Foster Love Closet and Resource Center.
He has played various instruments since he was 5, sang the National Anthem at Triple-A Chihuahuas professional baseball games at the age of 7, and performed with Kids N Co. His talent has been acknowledged in Nashville, Tennessee where he has performed at singer/songwriter rounds and the Country Music Association Festival.
